I had the honor and privilege to accept an award (2009 Family Readiness Award) at the Pentagon on April 16th, 2010 on behalf of Dave's unit, PSU 311. I was surrounded by the highest ranked military personnel, US Congressmen, US Representatives and many more...there aren't any words that can describe my experience other than a-mazing.
Dave and I had some extra time to see the sites of DC and spend some time with our friends and I have to admit that I was sad to leave. Everything was so beautiful and the weather couldn't have been better...till next time DC...
